ABOUT
Toad Sacks is a charity that was created in memory of Linda Walch, a social worker who worked at Santa Barbara County Child Welfare for over 20 years. Linda would often talk about how bothered she was when she had to detain a child and they either wouldn’t have any belongings to take with them, or that they had to carry them in trash bags. In memory of her mission of setting up every child for success, Toad Sacks was created to provide children with basics during a major life change. Our goal is for each child that receives a special Toad Sack, to know that they are safe and they are valued.
