Toad Sacks was started to honor Linda Walch, a retired social worker for child welfare for over 20 years. Occasionally, she would share stories about children being taken carrying their precious belongings in a trash bag. The mission of Toad Sacks is to change how kids experience the foster system, and return dignity to a scary and uncertain time. Each Toad Sack provides a child with a duffel bag, a blanket, hygiene products, and age appropriate activities (e.g. coloring book, stuffed animal, book, lego set, play dough, sports ball, etc.).

Trash bags break you know. Trash bags can't possibly support the contents of anyone's life, and certainly not a life as fragile as this.
